Scramble
 

The teams will be constructed using the traditional method of the lowest handicapped player paired with the highest handicapped player.  Each member must use an even number of drives on par 4's and 5's and an equal number of tee shots on par three's.
 

In the event of an odd number of players showing up for the scramble:

19 golfers:  we will play as 8 twosomes and one threeome.  The teams will be designated A(3), B(2), C(2), D(2), E(2), F(2), G(2) H(2) and I(2).  Team A will have the lowest and highest handicap.  Additionally, Team A will have the 10th lowest handicap.  Team B will have the 2nd lowest and 2nd highest handicap.  Team C will have the 3rd lowest and 3rd highest handicap.  Team D will have the 4th lowest and 4th highest handicap.  Team E will have the 5th lowest and highest handicap.  Team F will have the 6th lowest and highest handicap.  Team G will have the 7th lowest and highest handicap.  Team H will have the 8th lowest and highest handicap.  Team I will have the 9th highest and the 9th lowest handicap.    Each twosome will have the option of hitting an additional shot per hole.  The same person cannot hit 2 consecutive additional shots.

17 golfers:  we will play as 7 twosomes and one threeome.  The teams will be designated A(3), B(2), C(2), D(2), E(2), F(2), G(2) and H(2).  Team A will have the lowest and highest handicap, team B will have the 2nd lowest and 2nd highest handicap.  Team C will have the 3rd lowest and 3rd highest handicap.  Team D will have the 4th lowest and 4th highest handicap.  Team E will have the 5th lowest and highest handicap.  Team F will have the 6th lowest and highest handicap.  Team G will have the 7th lowest and highest handicap.  Team H will have the 8th lowest and highest handicap.  Additionally, Team A will have the 9th lowest handicap.  Each twosome will have the option of hitting an additional shot per hole.  The same person cannot hit 2 consecutive additional shots.

13 golfers:  we will play as 3 threesomes and one foursome.  The teams will be designated A(4), B(3), C(3) and D(3).  Team A will have the lowest and highest handicap, team B will have the 2nd lowest and 2nd highest handicap.  Team C will have the 3rd lowest and 3rd highest handicap.  Team D will have the 4th lowest and 4th highest handicap.  Additionally, Team A will have the 5th lowest and 5th highest handicap.  Team B will have the 6th highest handicap.  Team C will have the 7th highest handicap.  Team D will have the 8th highest handicap.  The teams having 3 players will have the option of hitting an additional shot each hole.  The same person cannot hit 2 consecutive additional shots.  Use 4 man pay out from list.



11 golfers:  we will play as 4 twosomes and 1 threesome.  The threesome will consist of the lowest handicap, the highest handicap and the odd man in the middle.  The twosomes will consist of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th lowest handicap and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th highest handicap.  Each twosome will have the option of hitting an additional shot per hole.  The same person cannot hit two consecutive additional shots.  Use the 5 man pay out from list.


7 golfers:  we will play as 1 foursome and 1 threesome with the group having 3 men able to alternate an additional shot per hole.  The same person cannot hit 2 consecutive additional shots.  The foursome will have the lowest and highest handicap.  The threesome will have the 2nd lowest and 2nd highest handicap.  The foursome will have the 3rd lowest and 3rd highest handicap and the threesome will have the remaining player.  Use 2 man pay out from list.


5 golfers:  1 threesome and 1 twosome with the group having only 2 men able to alternate an additional shot per hole.  The same person cannot hit two consecutive additional shots.  The threesome will have the lowest and highest handicap and the remaining man.  The twosome will have the 2nd lowest and 2nd highest handicap.  Use 2 man pay out from list.


3 and 2 golfers:  will play as individuals using net score (actual score minus handicap).   Use appropriate pay out from list.
